Sand & Sea Session – Hawaii Underwater Photography

Hawaii Underwater Photography of bride and groom underwater

With a Sand & Sea photography session here in Hawaii, you get the most gorgeous underwater images! I am happy to announce that I am now offering these session on the Big Island in the Kona/Waikoloa areas.

I have been photographing underwater images for many years, and got my start in Fiji. There we have sandbars and turquoise water. Here in Hawaii, we have turquoise water, but not as many sandbars. The beaches and stark black lava rock are their own kind of beautiful, however!

I have not yet booked a water session here in Kona and I would love to do so! It’s such an adventure, never knowing what the conditions will be like in each location. Who wants to pioneer this adventure with me?!

We have so many options: you get wet but I stay dry (you wade in and I photograph it), or I get wet and you stay dry (I’m in the water with my underwater housing and you’re on the beach, creating an over/under type of split shot). Or, the third option is to just jump in together! (We can swim in the shallows, in the pool, or charter a boat out to the deep blue (a gorgeous backdrop for fine art images!).

Just to give you an idea of what I can create, check out Cassandra and Tim’s recent Sand and Sea session (in Fiji). Want to help me get some underwater photography sessions going in Hawaii? Contact me and let’s plan!

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT

Capturing beauty and connecting with people brings me joy. A camera lets me do both!

I picked up a camera and the rest is history. I fell in love. The art of photography, the ability to connect with people, and the chance to do what I adore all inspire me. You can feel it when you're with me. Photography has been such a blessing in my life, and I want to pass that blessing on to you.
