Kona Village Resort (Big Island, Hawaii): Family Photography & Event Photography

At Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort here on the Big Island of Hawaii, I felt instant peace, tranquility and tropical island vibes. I walked down the white sandy path to reception to inquire about meeting up with my party: a family and friends group all together for a birthday celebration. They wanted family photos as well as candids of the big group there for cocktails and dinner.

As it was my first time at the property, I walked around the grounds to look for some beautiful photography backdrops. Kona Village is a photographer’s dream! Lush greenery, manicured lawns and a large natural (uncrowded) beach all looked like great possibilities to me! I could picture families, weddings, elopements and couples photography sessions all around the resort (it was all beautiful!).

If you’re looking for an amazing vacation, event venue, or photography location I can highly recommend this location! Since I have recently relocated from Fiji to Hawaii, I am still getting to know all of the Big Island venues, but I can honestly say that this one stands high above the rest. I would love to go back to photograph again at Kona Village, so please let me know if you’re looking to get some photos done here!
