Wedding Day Portraits in Kona: Eden & Preston
Eden, my oldest daughter, married her best friend and true love Preston last month. It was surreal taking her wedding photos, since I started photographing weddings when she was just 10 years old. I used to dream of the day that she would get married and I could take her photos, so I had to get in on the fun and break out my camera on the big day. She and Preston planned a simple wedding at our church, Living Stones in Kona, but before heading to the church we took photos at Old Airport Beach Park (I love that location for photos!). I put down my camera during the ceremony so my amazing friend Laura at Life & Light could photograph the action, and then picked my camera up again for a sunset shoot. Here are the shots I took on Eden’s wedding day prior to the ceremony and after the ceremony at the church (such a beautiful sunset!).
Special thanks to Pam at Kalona Spa Salon for Eden’s beautiful hair, and to all of our family and friends here in Kona who came together to make this beautiful day happen. I appreciate you all! Here are the highlights I took of Eden and Preston’s wedding at Old Airport Beach and Living Stones.
