Hawaii Family Photography: Fairmont Orchid Resort, Waikoloa
Jenny and her family reached out to me during their Big Island stay at the Fairmont Orchid, requesting a family session while they are here in Hawaii. I loved the way that Jenny described their desire to capture their girls at their current ages, as well as document their travel as a family. I couldn’t agree more with the importance of this! Their little ones may not always remember this trip, but they will always cherish these photos of them, barefoot in Hawaii, tickling and kissing their mom and dad on the beach.
With a Hawaii family session at golden hour (my favorite!) I like to start out in the shade and the greenery, and then make my way down to the beach once the light is soft and golden (and not too harsh), but for the sake of this post I’m starting with the beautiful sky first, so scroll down for the greenery shots!
I always do a mixture of candid shots as well as ones where I at least try to get people looking at the camera! Which type of shots do you prefer? Let me know if you’d like to learn more about my pricing or book with me here.
