Kona Salt Farm Wedding: Rustic Simplicity & Beauty
Carissa and Dominic chose Kona Salt Farm as their wedding venue. It provides all of the necessary ingredients for a warm and rustic beachfront celebration. The venue is located on a working salt farm that sources sea salt from the depth of the sea and then evaporates it using the power of the sun. It’s a fascinating location, surrounded by ocean, big skies and a long stretch of white sand bordered by Kona’s signature black lava that leads into the turquoise water.
Kona Salt Farm offers private air conditioned suites so the bride and groom can get ready in comfort. Carissa, along with her family and friends, got ready in one, and Dominic and his crew got ready in another. They met down on the sand in the golden sun and married each other on the beach. The wedding was heartfelt, intimate and brought the families together in such a beautiful way.
The reception was held just down the beach from the ceremony, complete with a food truck that served delicious dinner options, and a shaved ice truck offering specialty wedding flavor combos. Flowers in jars adorned the wooden tables. The wooden dance floor shimmered under the hanging lights. The wedding favors were sea salt (of course)! Everyone had so much fun.
If you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue, definitely check out Kona Salt Farm. As for the bride and groom, Carissa and Dominic are clearly a perfect match, and I wish them all the best as they begin their life together as Mr. and Mrs.!
