I live in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, but I love to travel to destination weddings as I’m able. This Fiji wedding was definitely worth getting on an airplane for. Not only that, but Tim and Cassandra themselves were a photographer’s dream! Beautiful, in love, and so happy. They were so kind to everyone around them, and they soaked up every moment of their big day.
Tim and Cassandra got engaged at the Sofitel in Fiji, and so they chose this same location for the venue for their destination wedding. We took a sunset photo in just the same spot where Tim proposed!
So many family members came out to celebrate around Tim and Cassandra, a sure sign of how many people love and appreciate them. The speeches moved me to tears (and I hear a lot of wedding speeches!). The celebration at the reception was heart-felt, fun and full of life.
A ten hour wedding day can tire you out, but I felt alive after photographing this wedding, it was just so beautiful! Thank you to Tim and Cassandra and family for including me in your special day. It was one to remember!
